In a woman’s chart, if Venus if found rising in dawn (before the Sun), she is considered a very seductive lady, with numerous love affairs. Men are irresistibly drawn towards her.

 

In a woman’s chart, if Venus is found rising in evening (after the Sun), she is considered more modest and able to control her desires better. As such, she is more careful in choosing her partners.

 

In a man’s chart, Venus refers to his lover / girlfriend, while an older man will find Venus referring to his daughter(s), or one of his children. This is because Venus also shows his relationship with younger women, typically a girl blooming in her youth.

 

Venus can also indicate your hobbies, or what you find attractive. For example, Venus in Cancer can mean a person who enjoys cooking or eating, somebody who is really into food.
